Artem – Volunteer at Lewisham Local
My name is Artem. I am a volunteer for Lewisham Local. I have joined Lewisham Local in June 2022 as a Volunteer Marketing and Comms expert. In this role, my main goal is to help Lewisham Local’s team in building their marketing and communication strategy for the development of future Lewisham Local projects to make Lewisham a better place.
During developing strategy, I worked closely with the team and had meetings with team members. Firstly, I enjoyed meeting people who are involved in making the Lewisham community a better place to live. They told me about their projects which are already underway, planned to launch in the near future, and the results, and benefits for Lewisham’s community from these projects. Secondly, through these meetings, I better understood the organisations needs for the development of marketing and comms strategy for Lewisham Local.
At this moment I am studying Marketing Management at university. Being a volunteer as a Marketing and Comms expert at Lewisham Local is a great opportunity to use my skills and knowledge to help Lewisham Local in developing their projects for the community. I am pleased to be involved in making Lewisham a better place.
