Abby – Volunteer at Lewisham Local
My name is Abby, I am currently volunteering with Lewisham Local, assisting them their social media and promoting upcoming local events as well as volunteer opportunities.
I volunteered with them because I wanted to get to know the Lewisham area more, and learn about the work that the charity does for the borough. I had previously been a part of a volunteer organisation during my undergrad and I found it be such an incredible opportunity not only to get to know the area but the people within it, it was that prior experience that led me to look for more volunteer opportunities in London.
