Loved & Wanted

You are Loved & Wanted

This Valentine’s Day we celebrate the incredible diversity and unity of London in the Mayor of London’s Loved and Wanted campaign!

As Londoners, we stand up for shared values and we bring communities together. Our diversity is our greatest strength. We come from all over the world, from every religious background, and every walk of life.

Loved and Wanted celebrates our city’s enduring spirit of respect, unity and togetherness. These shared values are at the heart of Loved and Wanted.

At London’s Lifelines we celebrate the fantastic stories of volunteers throughout London, shining a light on all that they do for our city.

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers for making a difference!

Mayor’s Community Weekend 2025

In addition to the Loved and Wanted campaign, the National Lottery Community Fund and the Mayor of London have announced the return of the Mayor’s Community Weekend to London in September 2025.

Taking place over the weekend of Friday 12 to Sunday 14 September, London’s charities and community groups are once again invited to apply for small Lottery grants, to organise local events that bring neighbourhoods together and celebrate our city!

Communities and voluntary groups are offered the chance to apply for between £500 and £2,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund to run events or activities that celebrate and support building strong community relationships.

Applications will open at 10am on Wednesday 9 April 2025.
