Mesha – Volunteer, Bridge the Gap
This is Mesha. She volunteers with Bridge the Gap CIC who give refurbished devices to help families in need. Mesha started volunteering with Bridge the Gap as a Volunteer Tutor Coordinator to help support the running of the sessions between parents and volunteer tutors. This was a six month project and when that finished, Mesha carried on volunteering as a ‘flexible volunteer’ helping wherever needed; currently supporting in admin.
She volunteers for Bridge the Gap because she saw that the organisation was making a significant difference in bridging the digital gap as well as signposting and providing much needed assistance for families in need. Bridge the Gap gave her an opportunity to give back, by getting involved with an awesome programme.
She loves volunteering because it is an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
